I spent hours today researching different blog hosts and services and sites....and I'm still not entirely sure why. I love to blog. For a very long time I did this with Blogger, on blog*spot and that was all. Then I found Xanga, which I like but it also infuriates me. My mother and I have been talking a lot about blogs lately, & it seems I am going to be introducing them to the teens in the Library she directs. Eventually, maybe to the parents too. So I figured I better be able to say more than "Well, I use blogger." Already today I've found, used and discarded a few sites. But I've also found a couple I really like. So we shall see.

I'm starting to wish I could just suspent time for awhile, learn everything I'm trying to learn, then pick back up and move forward in less of a rushing race. I'd love to be able to take the time to figure out how to serve my own files, to use a program to really create a site, not just use prefabbed templates, maybe even learn some coding of my own. But what I have, for now, works, and I don't have to think about it beyond what I type. Still....I'm kind of big on change, I suppose. Something in my life always has to be changing.
